A word from our President - Dennis Peterson. On behalf of the Board of Directors and members of the Spiro Area Chamber of Commerce, I welcome you to Spiro, home of the historic "Spiro Mounds". This is an area of Oklahoma with a rich heritage and an understanding of the important things in life. Our town is on its way up and we would really like for you to experience what we've known about our community for a very long time.

If you are interested in Spiro for a place to live or just to visit, you have come to the right place. Our public and private schools are some of the best in our area. Our business climate is steadily growing as more and more small business owners and industries are showing interest in relocating here. With our two lakes, Ward Lake and the New City Lake, we have a wonderful place to recreate, with some of the best hunting and fishing in our great state. In addition, we are less than 30 minutes to Fort Smith, Arkansas, so we enjoy all the things the bigger city has to offer without living there.

This chamber has served the Spiro Community for many, many years and is here to serve you. If you are coming here to live with us, we welcome you and hope that you will want to become a part of this chamber to help us as we continue our work to make this the best area in Oklahoma. If you are coming to visit for a while, we welcome you and offer our help to make your visit one you will always remember.
